2016 is half way done and we’re taking a quick breather to look back on what we’ve accomplished so far.
We tackled four hotel projects already this year including a corridor renovation at the Aloft Beachwood, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) installation at three new hotels: Hilton Garden Inn – Pittsburgh, Residence Inn – Avon, and the brand new Springhill right in our backyard. As hotels become increasingly innovative, striving to offer the best, most unique experience to their guests, the furniture is also becoming ever more unique… and complicated! FF&E installation is so much more than just moving furniture, and we’re proud to offer our professional and sophisticated service to owners with this critical piece of the puzzle as a hotel opens.
It was particularly exciting to help put the finishing touches on the new Springhill Suites in Independence just in time for Republican National Convention guests to arrive in our city!
We are always proud to serve some of the finest educational institutions in Northeast Ohio, and we’ve been busy this summer with lots of painting, maintenance, and even a couple of classroom build outs at Lake Erie College, John Carroll Univeristy, Laurel School, St. Ignatius High School, Breakthrough Schools, and Case Western Reserve University. Some of the highlights include a lobby renovation at Case’s A.W. Smith building that required the removal long neglected wallcovering, and building some new walls at Breakthrough School to divide classrooms.
And everything else!
We also had the opportunity to update wall finishes in areas of the historic Halle and Keith Buildings downtown, and painted a newly renovated Starbucks on in University Circle. And best yet, we’re ramping up for a busy fall! We recently added Ricka Jelepis to our team–she is doing excellent work taking over our sales activities–and we’re looking for a few new team members in the field.
