Youth Opportunities Unlimited

For more than three decades, Youth Opportunities Unlimited has been helping teens and young adults break the cycle of poverty and become productive citizens. Kathy has been on the Y.O.U. board for many years and enjoys working directly with students, coaching, writing resumes, and conducting mock interviews. Kathy is also responsible for bringing in some of Y.O.U.’s biggest donors and loves telling everyone she meets about the awesome work Y.O.U. does with at risk youth. Melissa recently joined the organization’s young professionals leadership committee as she also shares the passion for helping youth at risk.

Annual Christmas Adopt-a-Family

Since 1987 Designer Walls has been adopting a needy family at Christmas.

Our annual campaign includes donations and gifts from customers, vendors, family, and of course our team to provide a needy family with everything possible to make a perfect Christmas – from food, clothing and toys to beds, tables and appliances. The story is different every year yet it is really the same – people, especially children, need help!
